Physical Description		The Captain of the Newcastle is a tall, medium build, and strong man with a confident stature about him. At 5' 9”, he is slightly shorter than some of the other crew members, but that does not change his position or his power as Captain and Commanding Officer. Let us tell his physical story. He has a broad, strong chin, jaw, and overall head shape, giving off an air of masculinity and power. Soft lips and a strong nose give him a softer touch. He has soft stubble of dark, almost black; drown facial hair or a shaved face, depending on the day and situation. He has deep blue eyes that look like the ocean on a cloudy day that seem to penetrate into your soul upon his eyes gazing upon you. A strong neck that holds his head up on top of a strong, medium build, and slightly muscular torso. He works out constantly, taking full advantage of the Holodeck every day. His body is so physically toned that he has the strength to take on a Klingon warrior, not that he would wish to insult the Klingons. A taut, sexy six pack of abs with taut pectorals that showcase his sheer strength. His arms, while medium, are subtly muscular, almost suggesting that he is smaller than he is in clothing, but in his uniform...he is obviously a muscular man. He has spots that run from the sides of his forehead down the side of the face, down his neck which continue over his torso and down his legs to his feet. He has a very strong, quick set of legs that has grown to almost Olympic proportions with as much swimming as he does. He can do a mile in just under 20 minutes due to his sheer stamina and strength. Overall, he is a quite strong and handsome man who shows the power that he has as Commanding Officer of a powerful ship of the Federation and Starfleet.

General Overview		As a Commanding Officer, he has extremely high standards for himself and the crew. He expects them to always be ready, always be 120% devoted and focused on their jobs. He is a friendly officer in general and tends to keep in good rapport with all of his crew. As a person, he has a very friendly, kind, and outgoing personality. He often tells and plays jokes on fellow Senior Officers when off duty or a chance to relax. He enjoys being relaxed and calm even when he is not on duty. He is always concerned about the well being of his friends and officers. As a citizen of the UFP, he is extremely devoted to the cause of the Federation and its allies, intending on always serving to the best of his ability and to make sure he leads those under him with that honor in mind.
Strengths & Weaknesses		Strengths - He is a born leader who is always considering the most diplomatic solution to every situation before heading head first into combat. He always keeps himself focused on his missions and lets little to distract him from his duties as Commanding Officer. He takes the time to be friendly and helpful to new crew under his command. He is always respectful of other people's cultures, ideals, religious beliefs, etc. Weaknesses - He has an unfortunate issue keeping his feelings secret around his colleagues and close friends. He generally is rather easy to read emotionally, making it sometimes easy to manipulate him. He can sometimes have a short fuse during very difficult or stressful situations where he must truly focus and is distracted or being pestered.
Ambitions		His ambitions are quite simple, but important to him: to become Captain of a Fleet Leading Starship and to raise a lovely family in an honourable way to honor and respect his parents. He hopes to make them proud with every endeavour he engages in.
Hobbies & Interests		His hobbies include the following that he engages in on a daily or bi-daily basis: He uses the Holodeck for climbing, swimming, and general exercise to keep himself in absolutely top physical condition; He enjoys reading ancient and older English and Klingon literature of varying genres and types; He practices meditation and martial arts for even more fine tuning of his body, soul, and mind; Perhaps though, his favourite activity is to spend time with his closest compatriots during the off duty hours.

Personal History		Early History Timor was born in 2350 to Makar and Carissa Belar at Trill Medical Centre on the Murona continent on Trillius Prime. Timor was the youngest of three siblings with two older sisters, Galina and Jira. Galina was the eldest at 10 years older and Jira was 8 years older. Timor’s older sisters were instrumental during his early years of growing up as his parents where always away from home due to their professions. Timor’s father Makar was part of the Trill Defence Forces where as his mother; Carissa was a Chief Engineer in Starfleet. Timor grew closer to Jira over the years. In 2358 his eldest sister Galina was selected to become joined when she turned 18 years old. Timor attended school in Aldar Bay where his sister Jira was attending the Trill Institute of Medicine. They lived together for many years until Timor finished school and was ready to choose his path in life. With both his sisters, and his mother serving in Starfleet, Timor decided to do the same. Just after receiving his acceptance letter to Starfleet Academy, his family received word that his father was killed in action in the Onak Sector by Orion raiders. Academy Training Timor attended Starfleet Academy in 2368, quickly progressing through his studies. Towards the end of his freshman year, he took up an interest in horticulture. To better experience this hobby, Timor volunteered to help the Boothby, the head grounds keeper at Starfleet Academy. He continued to help Boothby until the end of his sophomore year in between his Security and Tactical Studies. In 2370, Timor was accepted into the School of Command at the Edinburgh Campus in Scotland, for his junior year of his Academy training. Timor excelled during his Command training, assisting Academy personnel at the San Francisco campus with the induction of new recruits. Using his horticultural skills, he attempted to improve the gardens in and around the Edinburgh campus. He also took an interest in rock climbing in the Scottish highlands. At the beginning of his senior year, Captain Picard was visiting the San Francisco campus and selected Timor to take his Cadet Cruise year aboard the Enterprise as his yeoman. Timor was very happy to receive an invite by Captain Picard of the Enterprise to serve aboard his vessel. During his senior year aboard the Enterprise, Timor learned a lot about Command, Security/Tactical and Covert Operations from the experienced crew aboard. Towards the end of his cruise aboard the Enterprise, Timor was invited to dinner with Captain Picard and his senior staff which to any cadet in Starfleet was a great honour. Upon returning to Starfleet Academy to graduate, Timor received a letter of commendation from the Academy Commandant but it was a referral from Captain Picard. After graduating the Academy with Honours, a Letter of Commendation, Academy Valedictorian and the Outstanding Cadet Award along with certifications and medals in weapons usage Timor prepared to receive his first orders as a newly graduated Ensign in Starfleet. Starfleet Service After taking the summer off to visit with his family, Timor received his orders of his first posting as a Security Officer aboard the USS Enterprise-E. What could be more of an honour than not only serving aboard the Enterprise during his cadet cruise but then being assigned to the Enterprise as a member of its crew. Timor knew that he had a bright and promising career in Starfleet. After his first year aboard he managed to receive a promotion to Lieutenant Junior Grade as Assistant Chief of Security and Tactical aboard, thanks to recommendations by his superior officer Lieutenant Elizabeth Murdock. Shortly after being promoted, in 2373 the Enterprise was ordered back to Earth as the Borg was to make another attempt to assimilate humanity. This attempt failed so the Borg attempted to travel back in time, however the Enterprise was caught in a temporal wake and dragged back to the day before First Contact (April 4th 2063). The Borg vessel was destroyed but not before they’d fired spreads of torpedoes on Bozeman, Montana the site of First Contact. The next 24 hours that followed were the most critical, in locating Zefram Cochrane and securing the first prototype warpship known as “The Phoenix”. With the help of personnel from the Enterprise the Phoenix launches from a disused missile complex and achieves warp speed attracting the Vulcan’s to Earth which initiated First Contact, mean while on the Enterprise a large group of Borg including the Borg Queen made it aboard the Enterprise before their vessel was destroyed. Many fine men and women were assimilated by the Borg. Upon our return to our own century, all surviving officers later received commendations from Lieutenant Commander Worf and Captain Picard for holding our ground preventing the Borg from assimilating the whole ship. Several years had passed and in 2375, Timor was offered a chance to teach at Starfleet Academy as a Small Arms and Tactics Instructor which later brought about two additional awards; The Advanced Tactical Training Course Certification awarded for completion of this course and the Elite Marksman Medal for being rated in the top 1% of sharp shooters and marksman in Starfleet. Timor continued teaching this course until 2378 when the USS Voyager returned home from the Delta Quadrant. Lieutenant Alexander Munro, Leader of Voyager’s Hazard Team was assigned to assist Timor for the Small Arms and Tactics course at the Academy. With the addition of Alex’s experience in the Delta Quadrant, the course curriculum became much more extensive for trainees and cadets. A year later in 2379, he was promoted to a Senior Instructor at the Academy along with the rank of Lieutenant Commander. He worked along side a new Professor at the Academy teaching a very similar course to him. Both Timor and Captain Byron Bladestorm's courses combined to make the Hazard Ops Training course more intense. As time passed the two officers became friends. In early 2381, Timor was asked by Byron to become his adopted brother, a decision not to be taken lightly however Timor promptly accepted this act of friendship. The only difference between the two officers was that Byron was Timor's Section Commander at the Academy. A few months later, Timor received a communique from Lieutenant Commander Tuvok who was being transferred from the Enterprise-E to the Titan. He was asked to replace Tuvok aboard the Enterprise. In 2381, Timor was re-assigned back to the Enterprise taking over from Lieutenant Commander Tuvok as Chief of Security/Tactical. Timor and Byron paid farewell to each other as their paths parted. Lieutenant Munro was also assigned to the Enterprise as leader of the Hazard Team aboard. Both Timor and Alex’s friendship grew as they worked together. As the years passed, Timor tried to learn more aboard Command and in the process got offered a few commands of his own but on cargo vessels or science vessels, none of them really caught his interest. In 2383, Timor became involved with a member of the Enterprise's crew. Lieutenant Canara Selen who was assigned to the Enterprise as Assistant Chief Science Officer, she had the additional assignment of Science Specialist to the Beta Team of the Hazard Ops stationed aboard the Enterprise under the command of his colleague Alex Munro. As Timor and Canara's relationship progressed they requested to be assigned quarters together. They spoke of remaining together and of raising a family one day, unfortunately they hit a bump in the road ahead of them. In 2385, Timor was offered a re-assignment to work for Starfleet Intelligence as Chief Intelligence aboard the Enterprise-E, he remained at his rank of Lieutenant Commander with an additional position as Second Officer. As Chief Intelligence Officer on Starfleet's Flagship he served the Federation and Starfleet with many classified assignments and operations ahead of him. Unfortunately he could not tell Canara about where he was going or for how long a time but he knew, it was the duty he signed on for. Canara was a little upset when Timor was given his new assignment but they both vowed to remain together no matter what might happen, they both knew the risks when they began there relationship and knew they'd see each other again. He received many awards and medals however details of operations and service between 2385 and mid 2386 remains classified. Roughly mid 2386, Timor took a leave of absence from Starfleet when he learned that his mother was gravely ill and did not have long to live. In early 2387, Timor’s mother Tia passed away. Rather than staying at home and grieving he decided to get back to where he was needed. He returned to Starfleet, but before he could return to his duties aboard the Enterprise-E Captain Picard invited Timor to a conference at Starfleet Headquarters. Timor was notified of a new assignment that he was qualified for given his background within the Hazard Operations branch of Starfleet Intelligence. He was to receive a new assignment as Executive Officer, serving under the command of his adopted brother, Captain Byron Bladestorm. The Newcastle was one of Starfleet’s new breed of Escorts/Warships taking over from the Defiant Class of vessels. Prior to taking his assignment aboard the Newcastle, Timor and Canara met up on Risa for a well earned holiday. Approximately two weeks into their holiday, Timor proposed to Canara, asking for her hand in marriage. Canara was a little hesitant at first about accepting his proposal however she couldn't refuse what her heart and mind was telling her. Just before their leave was over, Timor told Canara that they would be back together sooner than she might expect. Upon returning from his holiday with Canara, Timor travelled to Starbase 94 to take commence his duty assignment aboard the USS Newcastle. During a briefing with Starfleet Command, Timor was given permission to hand pick the command crew prior to Captain Bladestorm’s arrival. He gathered an elite command crew, some of which he had previously served with in the past. Some of the Officers and Crew included his fiancée Canara Selen and Sion Desaad who previously served under his command on board the Enterprise-E.
